- Plastic interception, recycling, and river cleanup practices are promoted among citizens and businesses of Kathmandu Valley and SACEP members.
- 500 Informal Waste Workers (IWWs) are able to safely collect and sell Used Beverage Cartons (UBCs) and low-grade plastics to business aggregators whilst benefitting from health insurance, social protection and protection services.
- Three women-led UBCs and low-grade plastics aggregator business are established providing employment to 45 women.
- 25 people are employed in a newly constructed facility where UBCs and low-grade plastics are used to manufacture plastic composite boards which are then sold for profit.
