Khakindra Prasad Upadhyay hails from Kamalbazar Municipality in Achham district, Nepal. Employed as a Social Mobilizer at CLEAN UP NEPAL since February 2024, Khakindra holds an Intermediate degree in Education and is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s in Education, now in his third year.

With over 7 years of experience in the community development sector, Khakindra possesses extensive expertise in various domains, including child protection and rights, child-friendly local governance, children’s education, disaster risk reduction, and health and nutrition.

Before joining CLEAN UP NEPAL, Khakindra was involved in multiple projects with Astha Nepal. In this capacity, he actively contributed to initiatives such as the formation and operation of child rights committees, Child Club Network management, establishment of complaint hearing mechanisms in schools, and identification and referral systems for case management. He also facilitated Life Skill Rupantaran Classes.

Khakindra’s notable strengths include his ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with local government bodies, key stakeholders, and Community Based Organizations, making him a valuable asset to our organization.
