Project description

The Bhoomithan Plantation Campaign focused on environmental conservation and ecological restoration through large-scale tree plantation activities in the buffer zone areas of Shivapuri Nagarjuna National Park. Implemented with support from Laxmi Cares, the initiative aimed to increase green cover, improve local biodiversity, and promote environmental stewardship among communities.

The project mobilized local residents, students, and stakeholders to participate in plantation drives across multiple locations, including schools, public spaces, and municipal wards. Through collective action and community engagement, the campaign contributed to strengthening environmental awareness and encouraging long-term conservation practices in the region.
