New Staff Orientation and Staff Planning – GCRU Project

CLEAN UP NEPAL successfully organized a New Staff Orientation and Project Planning Workshop from 9 to 11 April 2026 in Pokhara, Kaski, under the Green Jobs Creation through Recycling and Upcycling in Pokhara (GCRU) Project, West and East Clusters.

The Skill Development Training and RU Groups Support Program under the GCRU Project, implemented in joint venture with Doko Recyclers and Green Road Waste Management, is a key milestone in advancing green employment and sustainable waste management practices. The project is implemented with support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA Nepal) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Nepal), in coordination with the Pokhara Metropolitan City Office.

A total of 27 participants attended the workshop, including 12 male and 15 female team members, reflecting our commitment to gender inclusion and balanced participation.

The orientation strengthened team capacity in policies, project planning, and green operations, while enhancing teamwork and commitment to green jobs through recycling and upcycling initiatives. Together, we move forward toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Nepal.
