Waste Management Training Programs for School Teachers and Administrators in Godawari Municipality, Kailali District
As part of the Green Step: Empowering Nepal Through Waste Reduction project, CLEAN UP NEPAL, with the generous support of Standard Chartered Nepal, organized waste management training programs for school teachers and administrators in Godawari Municipality, Kailali District.
The trainings were conducted in the following secondary schools with active participation from both teachers and administrators:
– Shree Durgalaxmi Model School, Godawari-02, Attariya – 16 teachers
– Shree Ganteshwor Secondary School, Godawari-01, Attariya – 19 teachers
– Shree Sudurpaschim Secondary School, Godawari-02, Bankhet – 17 teachers
– Shree Rastriya Secondary School, Godawari-04, Baskota – 14 teachers
– Shree Guhyeswory Secondary School, Godawari-01, Basantapur – 12 teachers
– Shree Samaijee Secondary School, Godawari-08, Majgaun – 23 teachers
– Shree Navajyoti Secondary School, Godawari-03, Bojiya – 21 teachers
– Shree Gwasi Secondary School, Godawari-03, Malakheti – 24 teachers
In total, 146 teachers participated in the training, which focused on waste reduction, waste segregation, and sustainable environmental practices, while fostering environmental awareness and responsibility within school communities.
