We are thrilled to share the success of our recent training on Advocacy Skills, Leadership Development, and Effective Communication for Climate Justice, held at Chatreswori Rural Municipality, Bhotechaur, Salyan, on July 12-13, 2024. The training was organized by CLEAN UP NEPAL in coordination with DDS. The event brought together 43 participants, including youth leaders, women leaders, CSO members, elected officials, CF representatives, District Forest Offices, and local influencers from Chatreswori and Kapurkot Rural Municipalities, for two days of interactive learning.
The training featured a blend of discussions and feedback sessions, ensuring a dynamic and engaging environment. Key sessions focused on advocacy strategies, leadership qualities, and effective communication techniques, empowering participants to advocate for climate justice, inspire and mobilize their communities, and communicate climate issues and solutions effectively. To maintain the momentum and foster ongoing collaboration, we formed a WhatsApp group for all participants, providing a platform for continuous discussions, support, and the sharing of resources and ideas.
This training marks a significant step in building a resilient community ready to tackle climate justice challenges. The enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by the participants underscore the potential for impactful change. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this event. Together, we are paving the way for a sustainable and just future.
