Sustainable Waste Management Awareness at Shree Bhumre Secondary School

CLEAN UP NEPAL facilitated awareness sessions on sustainable waste management at Shree Bhumre Secondary School, Waling, Syangja. Approximately 200 students from grades 5 to 10 were present in the sessions where they learned different practices to achieve a sustainable waste management system. The students were enthusiastic to perceive knowledge about waste segregation, 3R’s, impacts of waste burning and the contribution they can offer to a healthy environment.

Furthermore, children were encouraged to help the environment and play a role in decreasing environmental pollution.
