Review Meeting on the Safa Nepal Application in Birgunj: Reflecting and Planning for the Future

We recently held a successful review and sharing meeting with our dedicated volunteers at the Birgunj Metropolitan City / वीरगंज महानगरपालिका Office, focusing on the progress of the Safa Nepal application. This gathering provided an opportunity to reflect on our past efforts, celebrate the positive feedback received from the community, and address the challenges faced along the way. The meeting also set the stage for planning our next steps, with a strong emphasis on mobilizing door-to-door campaigns to increase awareness and engagement with the application.

CLEAN UP NEPAL has launched the “Promotion of Safa Nepal in Birgunj” project to further these goals. Supported by The Asia Foundation and funded by the UK in Nepal, the project aims to boost the user base of the Safa Nepal application. By encouraging more residents of Birgunj to use the app for reporting waste management issues, we hope to foster a cleaner and more responsive community. Together, with our volunteers and the community, we are committed to building a more sustainable and efficient waste management system in Birgunj.
