Project Inception Meeting in अन्नपूर्ण गाउँपालिका, Kaski under the project “Building a Circular and Resilient Vulnerable Community through Waste Innovation”

On 7 May 2026, CLEAN UP NEPAL successfully conducted a Project Inception Meeting in अन्नपूर्ण गाउँपालिका, Kaski under the project “Building a Circular and Resilient Vulnerable Community through Waste Innovation”, with the support of Standard Chartered Nepal.

The meeting was chaired by Rural Municipality Chairperson Mr. Bishu Bahadur KC and moderated by Administrative Section Chief Mr. Thakur Prasad Adhikari. Project Coordinator Mr. Prem Prakash Nepali from CLEAN UP NEPAL shared the project activities, including plastic-free campaigns, community awareness on waste segregation and collection, and waste bin support in major waste generation areas.

The meeting brought together 16 participants, including 5 female participants, and concluded with a shared commitment to implement project activities within the RM Centre in the Naudanda Bazar area. RM Vice Chairperson Ms. Chandrakala Adhikari and Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Chiranjibi Baral also attended the meeting.

This inception meeting marks an important step toward strengthening collaboration with local stakeholders to promote circular practices and build resilient communities through innovative waste management solutions.
