Over 1,500 Saplings Planted in Salyan District
CLEAN UP NEPAL recently organized a successful plantation event in Kapurkot RM-3, Mulpani, and Dhanwana in the Salyan district. This event saw the enthusiastic participation of over 41 individuals, including students, teachers, and community members, who collectively planted more than 1,500 saplings. The saplings included a diverse array of species such as Okhar, Tuni, Lemon, Sugandakokila, Timur, Tejpat, Ritta, Kaulo, and Mango. This initiative was a collaborative effort involving Banaspati Udhan Salyan, CLEAN UP NEPAL, 1Million Tree Plantation, and the Dalit Development Society (DDS), with support from IM Swedish Development Partner. The event not only aimed to enhance the local environment but also fostered a sense of community and shared responsibility towards sustainable development.
