About Me

Nirajan Ghimire is a dedicated and results-driven mechanical engineer with a strong commitment to sustainable waste management, circular economy, and community-oriented environmental projects. With a solid academic background in mechanical engineering and extensive hands-on field experience, he brings practical expertise in plastic recycling systems, project management, and sustainability program implementation across Nepal.

He has successfully led multiple projects funded by international organizations like the World Bank, UNDP, UNOPS, KOICA, ICIMOD e.t.c gaining deep exposure to real-world challenges in solid waste management, supply chain development, and environmental compliance. His technical proficiency extends to preparing Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs), technical specifications, terms of reference, and procurement documents. Nirajan is particularly skilled in coordinating with contractors, government bodies, and community stakeholders to ensure projects are executed efficiently, inclusively, and within set timelines.

With a strong commitment to development-sector work, Nirajan aims to contribute his engineering and project management expertise to initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, green job creation, and resilient waste systems.
