About Me
I am particularly passionate about supporting vulnerable and underprivileged children, whether through teaching or other impactful initiatives. Moreover, I am also interested in volunteering for environmental sustainability and awareness campaigns. I am eager to apply my skills and experience to make a positive difference during my stay in Nepal.
I bring over nine years of professional experience in operational and administrative roles within international organizations such as MSF Holland, GIZ, CDN-ZOA and a UN agency. My expertise lies in HR Management, Procurement Management, Secretarial Management, Logistics, Travel Management, Event Management, Payroll Administration, Budget Forecasting, Inventory Management, Database Management, Multitasking and Customer Service.
While with UNICEF, I was responsible for vendor management, evaluating tender applications, and preparing monthly leave reports for the operations unit. These tasks required precision, a thorough understanding of vendor and HR systems, and the ability to coordinate smoothly between teams. With UNICEF, I utilised a range of Microsoft Office systems to manage business schedules and calendars, make appointments, manage inboxes, take meeting minutes and arrange travel. I took the initiative to champion efforts to update and improve our standard operating procedures to ensure they reflect current practice and assist with handovers and onboarding. I managed our electronic documents by ensuring they are filed appropriately into our document management archival system. I respected privacy principles when dealing with my colleagues’ personal, professional and financial information.
In my previous administration role with GIZ, I supported an important project, which involved preparing correspondence and reports for stakeholders. My time with GIZ further honed my logistics and procurement skills, where I oversaw procurement and contracting processes, supplier management, and compliance with donor requirements for over three and half years.
While in the field for a Dutch organisation with ZOA & MSF Holland, I focused on employee welfare while running recruitment drive. My role as an HR Officer at CDN ZOA involved ensuring compliance with organizational policies, managing recruitment and onboarding, and serving as a security focal person—a responsibility that included attending regular security briefings with UNHCR.
At MSF Holland, I gained expertise in HR data management and payroll processing using Homere software, handling sensitive data such as employee contracts, tax information, and performance records.
I am confident that my extensive experience in HR and logistics, coupled with my ability to use tools like Homere and Microsoft Office, would allow me to contribute effectively to Clean Up Nepal’s operations in Nepal.
