About Me
I initially started my career following my passion for teaching, wherein I taught Mathematics and Science to Grade 7 students after completing my higher schooling. Thereafter, after completing my Graduation in Environmental Science, I worked as a trainer in the Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Sector for Jagriti Child and Youth Concern, Nawalparasi, wherein I imparted trainings highlighting Disaster Mitigation techniques to students of Grades 8-10 in various schools of Nawalparasi.
Following that, I enrolled in CLEAN UP NEPAL’S three-month fellowship program and facilitated as a trainer for imparting knowledge and trainings regarding Solid Waste Management techniques to Ward officials, community members and other stakeholders alike, in across 95 toles of Bharatpur Metropolitan City. Furthermore, I have worked as an Environmental Trainer as well, for conducting Zero Waste at Schools (ZWAS) programs of CLEAN UP NEPAL. During this 5 month venture as an Environmental Trainer at the various ZWAS programs of the organization, I realized a core aspect of myself. I found that I get emotionally attached with students, and to some extent, I believe I was able to provide an impetus to providing a positive mind set to these young minds, which I personally regard as one of my success stories from the experience.
I am an individual who is always willing to learn new skills and believe in changing oneself for the better, to be able to bring about a positive change in the community. Currently, along with pursuing a Master’s degree, I am involved with CLEAN UP NEPAL as an Intern and am providing support to various organization projects and activities.
