Community Clean-Up Campaign Conducted at Nayabazar Gate, Kirtipur

On 26 September 2025, CLEAN UP NEPAL organized a community clean-up campaign at Nayabazar Gate, Kirtipur. 26 dedicated participants (21 men and 5 women) joined hands to collect a total of 191.501 kgs of waste, including:

4.39 kgs of glass

7.10 kgs of PET bottles

64.873 kgs of plastic wrappers

115.389 kgs of other waste

Thank you, Manuela Mollan, for your financial support for this event. This initiative not only helped restore cleanliness in the Kirtipur area but also emphasized the urgent need to reduce plastic consumption and strengthen community awareness on proper waste management.
