CLEAN UP NEPAL’s Safa Nepal App recognized in Waste Management at APSIPA Awards

We are excited to share that CLEAN UP NEPAL’s Safa Nepal App has been chosen as a finalist in both the Biosphere Sustainability Award and the Special Jury Prize categories at the 2024 Asia Pacific Social Innovation Partnership Award (APSIPA) in Taiwan.

Safa Nepal is an open-data waste management and data collection system. It consists of a web-based dashboard and mobile application and has been developed to allow the local-level government to undertake evidence-based powerful analysis of waste-related data; provide waste collection and management information; and enable citizens to report waste dumping, burning, and irregular or untimely waste collection services.
