Clean Up Nepal Launches ‘Promotion of Safa Nepal’ Project in Birgunj with Support from The Asia Foundation and DFID UK

On August 2, 2024, CLEAN UP NEPAL conducted an orientation session for volunteers on the Safa Nepal application at the Birgunj Metropolitan City Office. The session was attended by 25 participants, including representatives from Birgunj Metropolitan City. The orientation was facilitated by Executive Director Rabindra Lamichhane and Communications Officer Susan Shrestha.

CLEAN UP NEPAL has started a project in Birgunj Metropolitan City called “Promotion of Safa Nepal in Birgunj.” This project, supported by The Asia Foundation and funded by DFID Nepal , aims to increase the user base of the Safa Nepal application and encourage its use for reporting waste management issues in Birgunj.
