CLEAN UP NEPAL Hosts Two-Day Training for Youth Leaders in Kapilvastu

On May 9–10, 2025, CLEAN UP NEPAL conducted a two-day training in Kapilvastu, focused on advocacy skills, leadership development, and effective communication for youth leaders. The training brought together 25 enthusiastic participants (22 females and 3 males) from youth groups, engaging them in discussions on key social issues such as child marriage, violence, limited access to education for Dalit communities, climate change impacts, and youth exclusion in decision-making.

Youth participants learned various advocacy tools and committed to addressing issues like solid waste management, plastic burning, and poor waste segregation in their communities. They also pledged to amplify youth voices, engage in local governance, and build resilience against climate vulnerabilities. Facilitated by Mr. Prem Prakash Nepali, the training is part of the Intersectional Green Future: Advancing Climate Justice for All project, funded by IM Swedish Development Partner.
