Breathing Easier: Protecting Children from Air Pollution

“Breathing Easier: Protecting Children from Air Pollution” is a newly launched 18-month project in Kathmandu Valley, supported by the EPIC Air Quality Fund. The initiative is being implemented by a consortium comprising CLEAN UP NEPAL and GD Labs and Research. The project aims to measure PM2.5 levels in schools across Kathmandu, generate real-time air quality data, raise awareness among students and teachers, and advocate for evidence-based policy interventions to improve air quality. A significant milestone was marked with the signing and exchange of the MoU between Mr. Rabindra Lamichhane, Executive Director of CLEAN UP NEPAL, and Mr. Samip Sigdel, Executive Director of GD Labs and Research.
