About Me

A Development professional with 18 years of proven experience in Disaster Risk Reduction, Environmental Resilience, Climate Justice, Post-reconstruction and Recovery, Land and Housing Rights, and Food Security Governance through participatory and inclusive development processes with people-centric approaches, Mr. Nepali has completed a Master's in Sociology from Tribhuvan University. He has achieved impactful results on land and housing rights, human rights, and gender justice contributing to building grassroots movement and CSO capacity strengthening and participating in planning, executing monitoring, and assessment processes of multiple projects/programs along with garnering ample expertise in program management, policy advocacy, coalition building, capacity strengthening, and knowledge management.

He also possess sound experience in working with government and non-government actors including UN agencies, multi-lateral and bilateral organizations. He has a remarkable track record of handling policy dialogues at local and national levels and has even executed advocacy skills at regional, and global policy spaces. Mr. Nepali also has a sound understanding of development frameworks, policy landscape, GEDSI mainstreaming, land, environment and housing rights, and climate justice. He is passionate about serving his capacities for ensuring gender-equitable land rights, sustainable resource management, environment resilience, women’s economic empowerment, and gender and climate justice for a greener, resilient, inclusive, and peaceful world.
