Small Steps, Big Impact: 129.58 kg of Waste Collected in Nepalgunj Clean-Up
On 10 October 2025, CLEAN UP NEPAL, with the support of Standard Chartered Nepal ( Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited ) and in close coordination with Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City – नेपालगन्ज उपमहानगरपालिका, successfully organized the second community clean-up campaign at Dhapali Tole, Ward No. 9, Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City.
A total of 39 enthusiastic participants, including community members, youth, and volunteers, took part in the clean-up event. Together, they collected approximately 129.58 kilograms of waste, consisting of 13.9 kg of plastic, 10.59 kg of glass, and 105.09 kg of other types of waste.
This joint effort helped raise community awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy neighborhood. CLEAN UP NEPAL also thanks BAS Nepal for their valuable local support.
