Clean up Nepal facilitated Zero Waste at Schools Program at The British School for Grade 7 and 8 and at Mary Ward School for Grade 4 and 5 in Lalitpur.
Zero Waste at Schools sessions at these schools focused on impacts of littering and waste burning, the importance of waste segregation, waste reduction and recycling and composting which is delivered through interactive sessions, videos, games, and activities. This program intends to bring about behavioral changes among the students and contribute to a sustainable waste management system.
The program was conducted for one month with 5 modules for every week. At the end of the program Clean up Nepal distributed certificate to all the participated student from both schools. And Amics del Nepal performed their informative theatrical play in beautifully portrait waste and waste management practices.
