Toilet Handover to the Community

Shree Panchakanya Primary School at Nuwakot invited us to attend their 40th Anniversary. Program included prize distribution to students, honor program for elderly citizens and inauguration of new classrooms and latrines. During our first visit on 19 August 2015 students were studying under temporary shed. And, the sanitation condition was poor the school had no latrines. Clean up Nepal decided to construct latrines and support for drinking water supply. We are happy to know the school has now six new class rooms supported by different organizations.
It was a proud moment for us to receive honor from the school. Our small effort has brought positive changes in their lives and they value them. We handed over the latrines to the school management committee amid the program. We are grateful to all our donors and supporters for reconstruction after Gorkha Earthquake 2015.
