With the completion of the Zero Waste at Schools Program in Tika Vidhyashram Secondary School, Clean up Nepal handed over the certificate of participation to the school, students of grade seven and the non-teaching staff who had participated in the five-week module session. The certificates were distributed by the Impact Marathon Series’ Runners who participated in the Impact Marathon held on November 18, Saturday.
The certificate distribution was followed by a drama on waste management by Amics Del Nepal team, which had its’ outreach among the entire school students and staff regarding the waste related hazards and the solutions one can adopt. When asked to mention a take-home message, the students exclaimed, “One should not litter”. This makes us hopeful about more environment-friendly initiations from the students.
