Clean up Nepal is interested in understanding waste management issues such that appropriate solutions can be developed. These solutions may be in the form of community awareness and engagement, trainings and workshops, and improved coordination between stakeholders working in waste management.
HOUSEHOLD WASTE MANAGEMENT SURVEY | KATHMANDU VALLEY | 10 JANUARY 2015
Towards this, Clean up Nepal will survey 250 individuals each at Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square on the 10th of January 2015. The surveys will take place at Kathmandu and Patan from 8.30am to 2.00 pm whereas the surveys at Bhatapur will take place from 10.00am to 3.30pm.
We require 15 volunteers each in Bhaktapur, Patan and Kathmandu to undertake these surveys. All volunteers will have an opportunity to be involved in data collation and analysis as well. Please note that you must be available on 10 January 2015 and also to enter this data onto an excel sheet that will be provided. Each volunteer is expected to survey approximately 16 individuals.
We have received commitment from 48 volunteers. We still require a few volunteers in Bhaktapur, so if you can help, please email us at email@example.com. Please see the Volunteers List here. The coordinators for each city are as follows:
