Volunteers

Clean up Nepal volunteers are an incredible group of people. Not only do they give their precious time to help us with our goal of a cleaner and greener Nepal, but they also form the backbone of our organisation. Clean up Nepal’s organisational model is based on the concept of volunteering to contribute to facilitate meaningful and lasting change in the solid waste management sector in Nepal. To-date Clean up Nepal has mobilized over 22 000 volunteers in  30 cities.

Who can volunteer?
Anyone 18 years or over.

Why Volunteer?
There are many great reasons but here are a few:

  • You will meet new and interesting like-minded people, from diverse backgrounds and cultures;
  • Often you will have a chance to enjoy the great outdoors;
  • You will be using your skills to advance a higher purpose;
  • You will be helping our work to pursue a cleaner and greener Nepal; and
  • You will raise awareness of our organisation and its causes when people ask you what you are doing.
