Annual Nationwide Cleanup Event

Each year, we celebrate and recognise citizen power through an annual nationwide cleanup day in September. It all began in 2013 when 15 430 volunteers took part in local cleanups at 45 locations in 25 cities throughout Nepal. Since then, the cleanup days have taken place each year and so far, 75 000 people have collected just under half a million kilos of waste! These nationwide cleanup events are as a catalyst to encourage individuals, communities, and organizations to commence cleanup activities in their own neighbourhoods. This year, the annual nationwide cleanup will take place on Saturday, 16 September 2017 from 7am to 9am. Join us today!
