Minimize the Use of Plastics

Clean up Nepal organizes a number of campaigns both online and on-the ground.

The ‘SAY NO TO PLASTIC BAGS’ campaign was jointly organised by Bibeksheel Nepali Social Service Club and Clean up Nepal from 7 April 2014 – 12 April 2014 to minimize the use of plastic bags in the Kathmandu valley. The campaign consisted of several components including cleaning programs, awareness rally, and a public interaction.

254 volunteers took part in the campaign and over 15 000 kilograms of waste was collected.
