Clean up Nepal is celebrating Global Hand Washing Month from Global Hand Washing Day i. e., 15 October 2016 to 15 November 2016 to promote proper hand washing practices in Nepal. A number of activities have been planned throughout the month targeting children’s groups to make hand washing a habit.
Following this, Clean up Nepal under its ‘Swochha Bidhyalaya Program’ will hand over the latrines constructed at three government schools during Global Hand Washing Month. We will also conduct programs to raise awareness on water, sanitation and hygiene at these schools.
