Clean up Nepal in collaboration with young volunteers of Amics Nepal will perform a drama on waste management at Shree Bhagyadoya Higher Secondary School at Sankhu on 23 December,2016, targeting all the students of the school.The drama will be half an hour long and will showcase various issues related to waste management like littering, illegal dumping and open waste burning practices and how these issues can be addressed through waste segregation at source, selling the recyclables and making upcycled products.
The drama team will also mention about the impacts of poorly managed waste practices on health and environment and have fun components like “Kucho army” and “Kucho dance “ to convey these messages. The drama will be followed by a 1.5 hour long workshop targeting grade 7 students.
